    Minimum Octane for 250 SHO

    Is my memory correct that the minimum octane for the 250 SHO is 89? I keep looking for 91 or 93 locally but can't find any ethanol free higher than 89.

    89 ethanol free, with ring free, is what I use.

    89 is what Yamaha recommends
