Well I just went through all the set up pages, don't see the people talking about the bravo4 there... but I definitely have been told several times how it is the ticket, but read people may need to take the cowl off and have someone step on the pedal to the floor to insure it is opening all the way up. I'd start here, it's free
the older z8's were faster and suposibly merc took some hp out in 2012 or something.

Well the tempest didnt work out. I ran all large plugs, jumped outta the hole but topped out at 68 and anything over 67 was walking pretty bad. Even took my tackle out of the front and moved it back and not much better.
Did take another 1.5 hours to mess around with my fury wothout any plugs and it still pops outta the hole and about the same numbers. Once I moved my tackle around with this prop I hit 70! But I couldnt hold it there because it was walking so bad. I could run 68 fairly comfortable but anything over and it got pretty bad.
Both props ran between 5800 and 6000

Alrighty, that walking, that can be remedied, and I'm willing to bet there is another 1-1.5 to be had anyday with a couple more on a great day
