    Paint Creek

Never been to Paint. I do know that Rattlesnake Creek has some big smallies. Are you able to go very far up Rattlesnake in a bass boat? Is there any decent Smallmouth fishing in the creek or lake? Should I just focus on Largies? Thanks for any input.

Where are these big rocks I need to look out for? Are they below surface and hard to see?

yes sometimes. i keep t/m down all the way and usually, it finds them. main lake area between first bend and first big creek is where most big offshore rocks are, both sides of the lake. some in river also. water was up last weekend so might be no problem

reminder, they drain the lake in early October so get there before then

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to start and what depth?
