If it is like my 1998 Outlaw I had to remove the gas tank to get to the 3 nuts and washers off the screws that go through the seat back to hold it in.
1998 Gambler Outlaw with a 2019 Suzuki 200SS, Ultrex Trolling motor with 360 imaging, two Helix 10's at the bow and two Helix 10's at the helm, and a custom Amera Trail trailer with Gator-Bak bunks on it!

Open the lid over the gas tank, look for three 1/4" stainless bolts coming thru the top deck. One in the center and one on each side. Remove the 7/16" nuts. There is a screw on each side of the lower front cover of the seats going out sideways behind the upholstery remove these two screws.
