    2000 Mercury EFI 200 Compression

    S# 0T101470

Can someone tell me the correct compression numbers for this motor? I am buying a 2000 Ranger R93 with this motor on Saturday. Anything else I need to look for with this model? Thanks!

There are a lot of things that could need repair. Best thing to do is take it to a certified Merc Tech and have him go over it with a fine tooth comb. Those old EFI's were great engines, I had one, but, when they start to go it gets expensive in a hurry.
