    Trailer Locks

I am going to be moving in a few weeks and we are remodeling the house we are moving too. So I will not have a garage for my Ranger RT188 for a couple months and will have to keep it outside covered. What type of trailer lock system is best with the squared off type front coupler on the Ranger trailer? I want something in addition to the pad lock I use.

Get a dogbone locking pin for the folding tongue. Fold the tongue and put the dogbone in the hole and lock it so the tongue cannot be used to tow the trailer.

Heavy duty cable lock thru the wheel and around the trailer frame would be a good secondary immobilizer.

Great idea. Never thought of using the swing away. I also have a wheel lock that I will use. Between those two it should slow down the non professional thief at least.
