    lower unit info

Just looking for some info on the lower unit that is on my 2002 200 EFI serial #OT468833 What would the gear ratio be and is there a list of other makes and models that would have the same lower unit. I have the opportunity to buy a blown up 2013 ProXs 225hp but pretty sure the lower unit on this motor is a much different gear ratio and also probably wont even bolt on to my older 200 EFI.

Standard ratio for that engine is 1.87 to 1
Most any 200 (2.5L) lower unit from 1986 to 2005 will bolt up and have the correct ratio

That 225 Optimax is a completely different engine. VERY few parts that interchange.

Kinda figured that would be the case and decided to pass on buying it.
