If the mpg on the F350 is basically the same as the F450 then I'm of the mindset....Why not the F450?? Sorry didn't mean to hijack this post by the way.

More expensive, less choice of tires for the 19.5" wheels. A few more things here and there. The F450 was designed when 350s were still in the 4500-5000# payload range. I really don't know how much sense it makes anymore now that you can option a 7000# payload one ton.

Regardless if I get an F350 or the 450 I'm putting 22" American Force wheels with 37" Toyo Open Country MT's

I put Toyo Open Country MTs on my truck for my camper and removed them after two separate blow outs. The first Toyo blew so I replaced two tires w/ Michelins. Then a couple years later one of the two remaining Toyos blew. I now have all four Michelins. I will never own Toyos again.

I went 40,000 miles on my Toyo A/T Extremes. At least 15,000 of that was with a 4000# camper on the back. Zero issues.

I just got this Cirrus, love the camper. Added air bags & Bilstein overhead camper shocks. Pulls great.

Cirrus is on my radar for a truck camper. How have you liked it so far? Can it be used off the truck with no support?
