    backup lights

I was wanting to add back up lights to the trailer but did not want to drill holes in trailer. I went to see my brother who sells Truck parts. He gave me a pair of Trux Brand Oval Stop and back up lights in one. The work like any other sealed led oval light. When you put vehicle in reverse the lights turn white / backup. Here is he link to check them out.

I was concerned about adding lights to the trailer that wouldn't be waterproof. So, I added a spot light under the rear bumper of my Suburban, one on each side, angled slightly outward. You can adjust them so that they light-up each side just outside of the trailer fenders. That way, you can see the edge of the ramp or dock when backing up. A buddy liked mine so much that he did the same thing on his Suburban, only he used fog lights, which throw a wider beam. If I had to do it over again, I'd go with fog lights, too...they also don't hang down as far.

They are a sealed bulb just like the regular bulbs. When the brake is applied they stay white while backing. You still need to add a wire to your plug. If you have the regular flag plug you will need to upgrade to the 7 way plug. So far I like them. On my Nitro trailer the lights are angled in the fenders so they light the side of ramp well.

FYI... These lights have no pigtail attached and would not reach my wiring.. So I ordered longer pigtails to install.. Gonna be another week before I get the parts. Your trailer may have enough wire.

I did not find anything in the video or website that says they are waterproof, but they are supposed to have a 3 year warranty.
