    T2 prop performance

Received a replacement from Yamaha for busted T1 prop. I ran the new T2 prop and performance was way off from original T1. Anyone else seen performance loss going from T1 to T2? ZX250 Skeeter with 250 Sho

Not the first post I have seen about this.
More than likely it will need some love from Mark. I have run 2 different 25T1s both stock on my boat, 3.5mph difference between them. Noticed a great difference between the props too. The slower one ran 1" lower, had less bow and stern lift.

How much of a difference are you talking about?

    I went from 25T1 to a 25T2 and lost 3mph on my FX21/250 SHO

I have a hydraulic jackplate and I have to run it almost all the way down with the T2 for the best top end. With the T1 I ran the plate so much higher.

I didn't run wide open today but I did notice that this one of mine has a good but more bite than the T1 that I had.. This thing jumps out of the hole super fast....

Like RandyT said, they are all different out of the box, Mark can make it run sweet.

Well just got off the phone with Yamaha and they are sending my replacement prop...guessing it will be a T2. I'm just happy they took care of it.

The mod posted a pic a few weeks ago and the t2 is the same prop with a different hub configuration. Seems odd that performance would be different.

Just changed from T1 to T2 and the boat runs faster. Gets up faster and gained a couple mphs. No complaints on the T2 here.

I have noticed mine runs well, 73 at 6100 maybe a tick over that, but understand a load it drops down to about 70... The one thing it does lack from the T-1 is lift...I will have it worked in the near future...add some cup to it... Get it balanced... Have Jerry do his thing it.. would like to get another to have as a spare so there's no set up change but first things first..
I have no complaints with the T-2..
