NO BOATS FOR SALE IN THIS FORUM!!!!

I really dislike having to remove posts/threads/links but when repeated requests to list first on BBC 4Sale pages are ignored or defied, I don't have much choice.

PLEASE, folks...do not post links or comments about BBC members' boats for sale UNLESS they are first listed in the BBC 4 Sale pages. So far, it has been OK to post links to boats for sale when it is known that they are NOT owned by BBC members. I would hate to see the owner of this wonderful web site decide that links, etc will not be allowed.

Pushing the limits of the "no boats for sale" ruling benefits no one, and could come back to bite us.

Some folks like to push the envelope. My dial-up is slow but Al (BBC Owner) is now aware of those who are pushing. Not funny, guys. I was really enjoying being here. I hope you DO NOT mess up our great forum!!!

Can you change the color of your announcement at the top of the forum page to red bold? That would make it stick out more.

Click on the big A between the size drop down and the smileys and that is your color options.

I checked and you can't change the color of the thread/announcement title only the message body.

Thanks for speaking up Lea. I personally like when members post up links of boats for sale . It is probably durn near impossible to verify whether or not they are personally connected to the link though. Don't try to talk up the sale of your boat here until you list it in the for sale forum. Hate to see a good situation get screwed by a member who can't put their self interest aside for a moment to respect the structures and benefits we have here.
