I guess running over someone with your boat is not a dangerous act of aggression in California. Maybe they changed the law Out There? The guy fishing would be acting to protect him self from being run over by said pleasure boater. It's the way the law reads in Our part of the world. Not sure about Cali. The gentleman fishing should have gotten boat reg. numbers! Oh well, I suppose California boaters can threaten to shoot someone with no repercussions.

There's a pretty big assumption that this guy just went out of his way to try and run some random fisherman over and the poor victim had no choice but to fling his magical bait at the boat to turn it away. None of us like dealing with pleasure boaters but some act like fishermen are the gentlemen of the water in every case.

Well the op is prolly one of the best guys I know so no matter his story I believe it completely. But to think a jet skier stands a chance against his 921 or mine is comical. You've added zero to the conversation so how bout letting us do our ranting and mind your own business. Filter or proof read post in other places. Peace
