Little red river
Heading to the Little red river in Heber Springs for some Trout fishing this week. We are staying at a cabin that is in an area called Jons Pocket. I don't fly fish but will be using spinning gear with 6 and 10 lb test mono. I have some Rooster tails in a few different colors. Any tips on what to use for bait, lures, etc? Thanks.

Red worms on 6lb line
Corn should work as well but you will mostly catch stocking size but they eat well

I went to the local bait store in a Heber Springs called Golden Outdoors. The owner said to use a fire tiger rooster tail or a small spoon that mimics a brown trout. I limited out by 7am all three days!!! I caught browns and rainbows. They all ranged from 12 to 15 inch and the biggest was a 17. Looking at going again next year.
