Problems with my 93 SV

I have a echomap 93sv evenytime I turn it one and run the locator its on bottom lock. Only half of my side imaging works and have a lot of interveance on the screen. Anyone had this happen before?

That sounds like you need to adjust the settings. Let me suggest two things.

1) Do a factory reset. Look in your owners manual for how to do that. It should be some where under the System menu, but you will need to look that up for your unit.

If that doesnt work, then get some screen shots of whats going on and we can walk you through some settings changes.

It found under a number of the menus but here is one.
Choose Traditional Sonar->Sonar Setup->Installation->Restore Sonar Defaults

Will that reset sidevu as well? I didnt realize there was a sub menu for that rather than resetting the entire mfd.

Pretty sure it does. The same Restore Sonar Defaults is also found by making the same choices under ClearVu and SideVu.

That should fix is bottom lock and sidevu problems then. We will have to wait on screen shots to see about the interference.

The bottom lock and side view are the main issues. The other stuff is minor. I thinks its just a learning curve.
