Any recent reviews on the Vesselview Mobile?

Now that this has been out for a bit does anyone have any recent reviews on how it's worked for them? I'm kicking around getting one. I really don't want to pony up for the Merc monitor but if the vesselview isn't all it's cracked up to be I don't want to throw money at it.

I wrote about it in the sticky up top, I still have the same opinion of it. Not a great solution for bass fisherman, but it's the cheapest option...so I got what I paid for.

I was afraid that's what I'd hear. I figure the merc monitor is much more convenient.

Even more convenient than displaying info on your Lowrance units (assuming you have them)....

I have had it for awhile, its better than nothing if you can't do the merc monitor. If you like to listen to head phones while you cruise its a problem because both use bluetooth. Starting the app back up everytime you move is more a pain than it's worth. I only use it when launching and longer trips around the lake. Better than nothing though, it does work well.
