    Question Hydraulic Jackplate problems

    I have a Detweiler Hydro Jack, that I noticed on my last fishing trip was raising much slower than normal. It would go down at normal speed but seemed to struggle going up. When I got home I lowered it all the way down and checked the fluid reservoir which was full. When I tried to raise it the only thing that happens now is clicking, no matter if trying to go up or down. Any ideas ?

    If it's a Detweiler jack plate with a pump on the plate out side the boat you check the oil all the way up not down.
