Dumb post of the day - shimano Chronarch cleaning

So I broke down my Chronarch 50e this afternoon to clean it. Got it all back together and seen these two pieces left.
The reel is performing fine without them however they are there for a reason. Anyone know where exactly they go? I know on the shaft but between what?

Pretty sure they go on the reel handle, directly under the drag star.

    ***Correction***

It appears they go a little deeper... Check part number 15 on the parts diagram in this link...

They should be opposing as they are tensioners for the star drag. If they lay side by side they do nothing.

Yep, under the drag, arranged like this ().

That's #3. #1 and #2 show you how to take it apart and how to lube it properly and then how to assemble it. Recommend you google how to clean a shimano reel. very helpful.
