Got to remember the rubber band and stripped out screw head. Reminds me of the tv show MacGyver.

I may break my arm here patting myself on the back, but I have honestly used over 90% of those tricks in the past..............

I actually have been using the one with the jack on my camper....but instead of a drill driver, I welded a nut the same size as the lugnuts on the end of the shepherds hook thing and just use a rechargable impact & socket to raise & lower it using jacks just like they used.

Using coins to make the wrench fit was an easy way to tighten stuff with only a single wrench and a few coins in your pocket back in the Navy.....

Not only can you use a match like they did to fill a screw hole that is stripped/too big, but a rubber band, toothpicks, steel wool, stranded copper wire, and and wire ties have also worked for me in the past

When I need to paint something completely, instead of hanging it like they did, you can also put a loop of tape on top of a can or bottle and stick it to that so you have hands free to paint...I started doing that when I was a kid to fully paint the shell of model cars

Used the idea behind sharpening a knife to actually whittle down a larger oversized polyurethane to the correct size for some leaf springs I had to fix, as well

Lots of good ideas there.....just made me grin when I saw how many of them I had already used...........

I use the sandpaper strip wrapped around the drill but I would never use glue to hold it, simply cut a long strip and tape the beginning, the rest will follow. You can also tape it to a drill bit or a drum in the normal directionof turning if the beginning is taped the rest will wrap around and not come off.
