    Motorguide 767 Brute ?

    Mr Jones,
Got a couple questions about fixing up my motor. It's a 1999 MG 767 Brute 12/24v. It has a Tour edition mount but not sure if that's what it came with. I am looking for the door bracket threaded knob bolt.

The other question is on the plastic housing that attaches to the upper shaft. Should it have rivets or screws to attach. Has screws but keep backing off. Wondering if rivets would hold better, but unsure on appropriate size.
    Thanks!

I have the knob kit in stock. Some used screws and some used rivets. If yours has screws, just take a screw out to get the size of the rivet, however, you may have to disassemble to make sure the rivet inside clears the main shaft.

    John,
Thanks for the information. I found a knob in my box of parts, and I was able to shorten some stainless screws to fit with Loctite on the threads. So far, so good.
