Anyone fish up the Gunflint trail?

Haven't been there in a dozen years or so. I guess we're going next year and was wondering if any of the lakes were better for smallmouth. I've fished Flour, Hungry Jack and E. Bearskin with fair results.

Devils Track is a decent Smallmouth lake. When we head that way in the spring we usually fish for lakers, but run into the occasional smallie. So that is the only lake I have exclusively fished for smallmouth.

Was up there this past weekend. Fished Sea Gull and Alpine lakes basically at the far end of the Trail. It was really, really tough from Thursday until Sunday afternoon. Something changed, I'm guessing pressure. Whacked them for about two hours on a little gap on Sea Gull where they were running bait until a bear that would not take no for an answer ran us out of our camp site.
