    A98 and E SERIES

Does anyone know if these units can be linked together with a network cable? I THINK I will be ok even without linking them together. But I have a chance to get a E128 and already have two A98's (one in the front and one in the back)
If I am not able to network them together, I think they still use the same C100 transducer. So I should be able to use the 128 as sonar only up front.
But it would be nice if I was actually able to save waypoints from the sonar and other things like that.

Yes. You can network them with Raynet Cables. I have a similar setup, 2 A98s and an E125. CPT100 on the TM and one on the transom. If you want side imaging you will need a CP200 & CPT200.

Ok... I do have the side imaging hooked up as well. I think I am going to do just what you said then. I appreciate it!
Since I have all of this hooked up and networked (A98-A98-CP100-CP100-CP200-CPT200)... I should only need one more raynet cable to run from the A98 on the bow to the E12 on the bow...correct?

Short Raynet from bow A98 to E12X
Long Raynet from bow A98 or E12x (either one) to console A98
Short Raynet from console A98 to CP200

Sounds like you have everything except another short one. In the short ones they make a 400 mm Raynet and a 2 M Raynet. You can sometimes find the 2 M ones on ebay cheaper. I have never seen the 400mm cable cheap.
