Do i need a high pressure valve stem if i mount a Good Year Endurance tire?

I am getting ready to purchase a set of Good Year Endurance tire to replace my 4 year old Kumho 857, do I need to get a high pressure valve stem since I will be putting 60-65 psi of air in it?

Yes, your old ones are not rated for that pressure.

You should have been running that pressure in your 857s, so your tire installer should have put appropriate valve stems in when they were installed.

Yes, and if I were you I would also request that you want them installed even though the installer might say you dont need them, you Do

Back then when I bought the 857's I had no clue that the high pressure valve stems existed and I don't know if the ones on my tires right are the standard one or high pressure. Thanks guys, I will be asking them to put the high pressure valve stems in them.
