Has anyone ever installed carbon fiber wrap on their dash? I want to get rid of the wood grain look.....just bought a sheet on ebay and watching youtube vids on how to install. Just wondering if anyone else has ever done this - and after pics.

Side panel only so far. Dash this winter. Fairly easy I used a heat gun for corners.
I was thinking about the black carbon fiber - but didn't know how it'd look with the already black surround......so I bought gray matte finish. We shall see. I'm not looking forward to taking all the crap off to get to the plastic though, then putting it all back on.

Looking good guys...would love to see the whole dash.
Is that an HDS 7 on a RAM?? What do you have in dash and would the HDS not fit?
Here is what I did:

Here's what I did a few years back. The material has held up very well.
Did mine 4-5 years ago still looks new. Just go to Autozone they have a roll there for less than $15
I have a 2010 tr18... does anyone know of a video or a thread that shows how to remove the dash?
I did this on my 03 dash. I started with the cheap eBay stuff thinking it is the same as the 3M di-noc. The eBay stuff had very little stretch and was difficult to impossible to stick on tight corners. The 3m stuff was significantly better and easier to work with. Also I'd recommend the primer 94
Use only 3m vinyl wrap and use a heat gun. I used a black carbon fiber to wrap my windshields on my 20x2, the dash, the glove box and the side panels. Looks great and has held up with no problems in the sun. The windshields get a ton of comments from folks asking where I had them made.
