    Question What to look at - 4 beep low oil warning - 150 EFI - s/n 1B519622

This past Sunday, after several start-ups and short runs, I started getting the four beep low oil warning about 30 seconds after starting. The onboard tank was nearly full, oil tank on engine full. Loosened the engine tank cap and it was ok. Loosened and re-tightened onboard tank cap. Still got warning beeps. I'm suspecting an oil level sensor problem.

Taking it to shop in a few days but wondering what items/areas to look at.

    Thanks.

FYI - It was the engine mounted tank, tank replaced.

Disconnect the bullet connectors to the level alarm and connect them (harness leads, not the sender leads) together. This will stop the alarm if it is the engine mounted tank sensor. If thats your problem, you need to replace the tank, it is usually the float, not the reed switch.
