Vault lube with bearing buddy

Any reason why they cant be used together? just curious

Buddy bearing cap is designed to keep grease in the hub. Hybrid Vault grease turns to a heavy oil when heated. I don't believe the Buddy bearing cap is sealed well enough to keep the oil in.

I wonder what the difference between the o-rings in the Vault bearing protectors and the Trailer Buddy protectors. If the pics in the brochures are to scale, it appears that the Vault o-rings are thicker. Maybe Dennis can chime in.........will the Trailer Buddy bearing protector hold the Vault Hybrid Oil?

My Vault cap has no O ring. Its a tension fit into the hub.

Both bearing protectors have double o-rings.
