    Keelguard

The Keelguard on my Ranger 620 peeled half off during fishing trip. Had to cut the flapping piece off so we could resume fishing on our 4 day trip. Keelguard's web site has it as a lifetime warranty but states proof of purchase necessary. The only proof I have is the remaining half still on the keel. I put in on shortly after buying the boat sometime in 2010. Not confident that I can come up with the receipt. Any suggestions? T

Online Credit card or bank statement? Should show proof of transaction.

Email them and explain, some will stand behind a product either way. Worth a try!

I contacted customer service at Keelguard. They were great. I sent them pictures of the damaged Keelguard and they are shipping a new one. Mine lasted 10 years of the kids beaching the boat on banks containing gravel, rocks etc. New rule, no beaching, this is not a tin boat. T
