    My boat also ran 99.8 with a stock 300xs, 8" jackplate w/ 1/2" wedge turning a 32 Performer 4 to 5660, solo loaded to fish with 24v Fortrex on the nose and 120lb lead acid batteries in the bow.

    Hooken203, I'm guessing driver skills are what you were referring to. Horsepower wise a 300 with any kind of prop over 27" will easily get over 90 in a XB21 loaded. But I've seen many drivers that I wouldn't want to be in the boat with doing it. LOL

    With 1.62s it will take a 30+ with 1.75. Hooken has 1.75 gears. I cannot imagine a 300 not being able to do it if balanced well, the correct motor height and hoped water conditions.
