Put the new HDS 9 gen 3 on a Balz-out mount (LOVE IT) and it looks sweet BUT I'm gonna change the red plastic wire cover for black mesh :)
I made a 1/4 alum plate for the dash hole but am getting a cover plate from Mikemac10 that will dress it up sooo nice :) Thanks Mike!
I very happy with the install so far and think its clean looking - Just how I like it! I Used a leveling puck to get the angle I wanted.

Yea don't want to drill a 3/4" hole yet but did set screws in her :) I may change my mind later. That would be super clean!
What balz-out mount is that? I'm going to do a similar install and I like what you have done. Can the whole mount be removed easily so you can put a boat cover on?
