    Pad height

Anybody have any Idea what my pad height should be. I run a 2015 V20 with a Yamaha 250 sho. 2 power poles, loaded gear, 4 batteries (interstate) and a 25 fury prop.

I run a 24 fury on my v20 with a sho. I see my best performance at 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 prop to pad depending on how heavy I'm running.

I have a 25 T1 as a back up, which one you like the best? I am in the Oklahoma so it gets hot here.

What speeds you guys getting? I am getting around 63 right now loaded, sometimes hit 64. I think the previous owner had it to high.

    Has your fury been worked?

My fury was not very good until I had it worked. I sent it to http://www.theepropguy.com for some work. Much better lift/speed/holeshot

I'm getting 68-69 at 6050rpm with the 24 fury. I ran a t1 for awhile, like the fury better. Gets on plane quicker and actually carries a load better. Believe it or not. The t1 was fast until I fill live wells and add a partner. For some reason legends really like furys. Make sure with that sho your getting enough rpms with the 25. Need to be 6000-6100.

Not a V but I hated my fury props. The legends do seem to run better with p2p deeper than most.

    I agree my 199 and 211 liked it about 3 1/2 to 4.

I have a 2017 v20 WITH 250 Merc when tucked all the way in with the 24 Fury I can Feel some type of vibration. Can this be a sign of being too high or too low? Anyone else experience it?

I have 2015 V20 with a 250 Pro XS and get the same vibration. It goes away as soon as I trim it up just a little.

My 211 does the same thing. Didn't do it before I put Power Poles on. So in my case I assume it's some kind of turbulence caused by the Poles. It goes away as soon as I trim up.

Update, I lowered the jackplate to 3 1/4 p2p and could hit 66 no problem but still need to go down some more. Next move is 3 5/8 or 4. I talked to previous owner and he said he had it at 3 5/8 but when it went back to factory for a go over they may have raised it to work on it?

That vibration is simply conduction through swivel/trim bracket. When you trim down, it is all metal to metal everywhere and all motor vibration goes right into the hull. A bump on the trim and you are using the hydraulic fluid as an isolator to keep much of that vibration back in the motor and not in the hull. Every boat I have owned did this unless it had grossly sloppy rubber motor mounts. The Pro XS motor mounts are solid.
