    What's the best stuff to fix dents around the pad?

    No experience with tin boats, but if it were mine I'd try Marine Tex, do a skim coat (after prepping/sanding to promote adhesion) then block it perfectly flat. Might even help performance if done right

    Bondo will work I would use small strand kitty hair to do repair do final wipe with ever coat putty the kitty hair is chopped up fiber glass and won't crack like bondo been using it on cars 30 years no problems yet
