Question Triton 21 HP prop mods?

I am still working on getting my 2014 Triton 21HP set up (250 Pro XS on a 10" Jackplate)

I have a 26p Tempest Plus that I had recently Balanced & Blue-printed by a local prop shop

yesterday I ran up river at 5650 RPM and 76MPH 21/2 inch PTP

is it possible to get the shop to modify the prop to give me about 200 more RPM without losing the bow lift I gained from the Tempest?

OR would you get the shop to add some bow lift to my 25p Fury 3? (it ran 74.5 at 5900 RPM 3 inch PTP with what felt like no bow lift)

OR would you leave it alone?

I would check your tach before doing anything else as your prop slip numbers are insanely low.

In that case I'd get those same folks to B&B the fury. I'd have to think they could get 1.5mph out of that prop.

Did you try raising the tempest another 1/4"?

    Not yet
I was afraid 21/4 PTP might be too high
I will certainly give it a try if you think it will help

You can raise it 1/4"at a time until you gain rpm's but not speed, lose water pressure or bow lift.

When the temperature starts dropping you'll pick up those 200 rpms you're wanting
