    721 OR 919?

1st boat and I have narrowed it down to the 721 or 919. I fish primarily in the triangle are of N.C., Sharon Harris is my home lake. From my research both are close in cost and performance with the deck width being a little greater on the 919. I normally fish out of a buddies Tracker PT 195 but have ridden in a Phoenix 819 and could tell a huge differance. Thanks in advance for the feedback, I have learned a lot in a short time on these forums.

So I think I'm correct when I say this, but the 819 is the same as the 919 but a 200 HP engine instead of a 225. So you're familiar with fishing performance of the 919, just imagine your buddies boat going faster lol. I have a 721, and went with that for the better ride and length of the boat. I also wanted the two separate storage compartments on the front deck. If I was interested in a 19' boat, the 919 would definitely have been my choice. I tell my fishing friends who prefer the smaller boats to look at the 919.

Pretty much it. The 919 has more basic features but you get the length with the 721.

Both are great boats, the 919 will have more options and on our lakes, the 919 is plenty of boat,
If you fish Tillery, Badin and High Rock the 919 is better to get around docks, Harris and Jordan either boat with perform about the same, Kerr or Norman on a rough day you may like the 721 but still the 919 will handle it sweet.

I went with the 919. Almost 20', came with the 225 and better basic options the 819. 919 and 819 come out of the same mold. 919 just comes with better stuff, motor, electronics etc. Either choice will make you happy, it's the wait that will drive you nuts.

The 919 can handle anything so that is no issue at all. I think the 721 is a lot more boat for the money and it's faster. There's no substitution for length in big water if you ever find yourself in 4 plus foot waves. I fish in both since my cousin/partner runs a 919 and it is noticeably smaller to me.

I use to but I might as well mail in my donation,
    I can't catch 25 to 30lb in 4 hours or even 8
I did fish a few day tournaments there in July and August
