Time on my hands

I've been chasing my crappie bites around the bottom of my pirogue long enough so I took a piece of Kydex and a heat gun and molded a holder for them. Always handy now so more time for fishing.

Looks great. I looked at those crappie bites, I think I'll get some. What size hook do you use for your crappie fishing?

Not sure of hook size, probably #2. I always jig fish with a jig head with a sickle hook and 2" jig body. I just tip the hook with those Crappie Bites. Some days it is the difference between getting bit or not.
