If you frequent the ChampioN Boat Owners group on Facebook, guy there just posted a 96 202 with 225 Mariner and a Talon. Don't know if this link will work but here goes.

It's a nice blue and silver gray flake, Humminbird graphs, Xi5 stroller, he's got a ton of photos up too.

Oh, now I understand, it was a question. That rig came from factory like that as far as I know from what I've heard from the owner.

What type of numbers would you see with a 250XS on a 202/203?

low 70s fully loaded with your family and your friends family... probably 75-78 if setup right on a light load.

i have been 74.2mph on a light load, and cool water/ air temps with my 203 w/ opti 225.

righf now with a full tourney load/ two 12' talons and my partner and his gear I run 67-68 consistently

Dunbar, your only getting 60-61 with a 200? Seems like your set up could be a little off. 65 should be pretty standard. I'm looking at a 99' 202DCX with a Merc 200 EFI and he showed me his recorded GPS of 68.8 with nothing in the boat half tank of fuel, just him. Tourney load half tank of fuel and his partner 63-64 all day. Hmmm. He is running a 24 Tempest worked by Mark too. What is your set up like...?

New 8" rapid jack JP. 25 tempest plus supposedly worked by unknown source. Don't know PTP right off. I would expect it to be a little slower than a 202 but only a couple MPH. My tach also says says I running 6k which I haven't decided if I believe or not yet.

Yeah, I would get that checked first. Make sure you are running optimal RPMs and that PTP is super important. Not sure on the prop but Inwould send into Mark. He can tweak as needed. You want Bow lift with that bad boy. 202 is a touch faster than the 203 rigged equally but not much. Both boats are sweet. Uncle has a 203. Awesome boats.

The rear tank 203 is quicker than the mid ship tank 203.

The 202 is a great running rig. I run a 99 202 with a 300 promax, she will run high 70's with me (260lbs), full fuel, full live wells and tackle load with out breathing very hard.

Good luck with your search, as you know they are very hard to beat.

    That's cooking. I just bought a beautiful 206. A 202 or 203 are amazing rigs.
