When pumps go to "sleep" after a preset time (4 hrs) and all lights are off, do they still drain any power over an extended period of time, ( several weeks)

Yes. They recomend a power disconnect for this reason. The motion sensor/ Bluetooth still has a draw other wise how would it know when to wake up.

What he said, This is why we sell and install on every boat we do one of our kits we have put together.

I boat does not leave my shop after install with out one of these switches installed. More reasons then one to add this.
Could you wire a Power Pole into a Blue Seas block. I've setup a fuse block through my main power switch.

At a maximum amperage of 30 amps per block on the blue seas that you have the answer is NO, you will require a min of 40 amps per pole.
So if you had dual power poles would you need 2 of the battery switches or would you run both pumps into 1 switch?
just 1 switch , both poles run to 1 cutoff switch.

Wouldn't have a boat without a easy to access master switch for battery , I have one for trolling motor .
Talons do the same; a very slow draw.

Can you use the acc switch on dash panel to use as a battery switch for power poles?
I have an extra toggle switch on my dash panel labeled acc for accessory I assume. Nothing is wired into it and never has been. The acc switch is controlled by my main power switch on the dash panel as well. I should be able to use the acc switch to kill power to pp pumps when not in use. Or am I just thinking about this the wrong way.
Probably not enough amp rating, you could set it up to a relay, but then there is more components to damage, troubleshoot, get wet...

Thanks k and k ; and fishysam. I just bought a battery switch at academy sports that's rated for 350 amps. It does up to two batteries. Looks like a good one so we'll try it.
