    Terrova not turning?

I have a older terrova that will not turn either way with the remote or foot pedal ? Prop turns no problem. I tested the Motor with a meter and it gets 24v when I disconnect the motor and hit the pedal. With the motor connected I get 3 v. So I order a new turning motor and installed it, and it is doing the same thing no turning?? It must be the many electrical board ?

    thanks mike

Mike, the control board and the transmission work together. If the transmission draws amps above specs, it will take out the control board. Also, the control board is bad, it can damage the transmission (so your new transmission may already be damaged), so while you're trying to save money doing it yourself, not knowing things like this will wind up costing you extra money. It needs to go to a service center for proper repair.
