Governor revokes permit for Wild Goose boat launch on Lake Sunapee

    http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/access/wild-goose.html

Heard about it on WMUR last night. What a shame, not sure why he felt the need to step in and poo poo all over it. F&G is working to try to have his decision reversed, but who knows what happens here. As I understand it though, if his decision is final and goes through, it pretty much completely kills this boat launch from ever happening.

I keep reading/hearing that the locals main argument against it going in is due to the proposed entrance at the road supposedly being very dangerous for traffic. Sounds like they don't want to propose any solutions or hear of any though, would rather just not have the boat facility go in. Gee, I wonder why??....

It is well known that a group of wealthy lakefront property owners have banded together in an effort to thwart access to Lake Sunapee. Write the governor.

Do they stock this lake ?
That's what they did in Maine,... "You want us to continue stocking this lake ? Let us put a boat ramp in first ?" Very simple ,...No Ramp - No fish !
    Very simple solution !
Is this a "Private Lake ?"
Public Lake = Public Access !!

Governor will be in Atkinson tomorrow at noon for the town's celebration of its 250th Birthday. Just in case anyone wants to send him a message personally.
I am serious. And don't call me Shirley.
