    Made The Switch to Phoenix

Contemplated for several weeks on trading in my V20 on Phoenix. Pulled the trigger on a brand new 2017 920 last Friday. So far love the boat. After i put the break in hours on it, I stretched it out and got it to 77 but i feel i could get a little more out of it. That was loaded with all my gear and 1/2 tank of gas. It came with a 25 fury, but i feel i need to get a 26. At wot, it was right at or a little over 6k RPM's. Hole shot is amazing, lot better than my V20 and i thought it was good. Only thing different about my setup than some is i kept my lithium trolling battery from my old boat. Loving the boat so far!

Those big rpm gauges are not very accurate. You can definitely hit 80 in s 920. Check the setup page and see what prop the other guys are running

Agree on the comments about RPMs. My RPM gauge runs about 100 or so higher than actual of the motor link. If you verify the RPMs are right then maybe swap props, but don't think I would. 77 is scooting. Lithium batteries though certainly makes a difference.

yeah there was a little difference on my last boat with the merc monitor and big gauge. I'm thinking about getting the mercury vesselview mobile so I can use my iPhone as a monitor to get actual performance numbers and data
