Anyone put one in the boat during the eclipse???

I did!! Nothing big but the goal for the day was to do exactly that. Wanted to see if the fish acted different during the eclipse too. I took a picture of the fish at 1:28 CDT. The peak of the eclipse was at 1:24 I believe local time so it had to have hit about the peak eclipse time. We did notice a bit of flickering of bait shortly after the eclipse began to happen, or possibly we were just paying closer attention!!

I'm thinking there is a great story out there about catching fish namely Bass during the Eclipse and our talented BBC writers haven't had time to decipher their mind boggling experience into a BBC Post....However I'm sure it will be worth the wait

True Brad, but fishing 50 feet from me was Chad in his boat. I thank goodness he witnessed it!!! I have a pic if someone can tell me how to post one now that our old source is gone.

Hell no not on that river. I wanted a chance to catch one!! On bluegrass 2nd drop on the point. Chad had a good day out there in my opinion. He put some big fish in the boat yesterday. I only had one that was close to 5 and a number of short fish. My big fish looked like I had to have been at least the 4th person to catch him. Mouth was all beat up. I got him back in quickly.

I didn't get to go fishing yesterday --- I was busy--------- drinking 64 ounces of Gatorade with this nasty powder mixed in. Chitty deal.

Sounds like a bowel prep, (especially) including the chitty deal part

I caught one that went 4.5 right as totality was starting and it was getting dark. Which I actually caught quite a few yesterday all day.

It was. Good news was the results, everything was ok. I watch colon cancer take someone. Seeing what. They went through the last 6 months of their life----- A day or two of inconvenience Is worth it.

In Arizona so only a bit of the sun was covered. Put this one in the boat just after it started.

I've seen it more times than I care to remember. Cancer sucks.
Glad to hear the results came back good
