    Snapshots on Navionics

These two were my first snapshots, they were taken on my 958c.

My question is there a way to disable the COG,the coordinate box at the top, and the Speed/ MPH, so I can see the whole map ??
Also with this unit, when I have snapshot on, and hit the MARK button it takes the snapshot, but it also leaves a Way point on the screen begining with an S.
I then have to go into EDIT and delete that way point.
Is there anyway to not have it set a way point when in snapshot mode ??

    Thanks

Yes, push the EXIT button to turn off the map curser to get rid of the top readouts.
Only with a 898 can you turn off all the left side readouts and get some overlay readouts, and then only with the full screen SI view.

The current models can have digital overlays, left side readout boxes, or no readouts.

No you cannot take a snapshot with that unit without creating a waypoint. You can with a Helix, ONIX, SOLIX.

BTW, the top set of readouts are displayed with any view, not just mapping when you activate the position curser with the 4-way button.
