I have yet to pull the trigger on what to do. So many options and I want to make sure to do it right on the first time.
I installed a MK Ultrex on the boat. It has the iPilot, spot lock and the new GPS, Bluetooth heading sensor. I know that HB are all compatible with MK motors but a converter cable is also available to use the trolling motor built in transducer. I thought that I would need a separate transducer mounted on the troll motor so I could get side imagining. I rigged my Terrova this way but I don't see a way to do it to the Ultrex.
I really want to use Garmin so now my question is using the built in MK and then convert it to the Garmin in the front through the cable MK sells and then connect my console graph with SI to the front so I can share way points? Is that possible. I really want good imagining at the front for obvious reasons.
1042 XSV is what I've settled in on for the console and then putting my 93DV at the front.
I feel you have to be a specialist to get the best bang for your buck.
