Nah, ECLIPSE is French for Slackers... When will they start reporting the loses for businesses with employees who take a break to view it??? Gotta be close to what the Super Bowl cost employers in lost productivity... Dan

The building where I work has setup an area on the top level of our parking garage where everyone sit and watch the eclipse. They will be passing out Moon Pie's to everyone as well ...of course, we have to use our lunch hour to observe, no extra time off has been provided

I guess I am one one the very few that actually has zero plans to watch it or even pay much attention to it at all. I have no interest in it at all. Its just the next big thing for people to get into for a day or so.

So no where near what the NCAA tournament does.

True, but this is a smaller time window than the NCAA tourney

I agree Mark, I will look out my office window but that is about it. I know atleast 10 people who drove down to southern Illinois to watch this. Is it just me or has the internet caused these type of events to be blown completely out of proportion.

Put me in this group. I couldn't care less. I just don't see what the fascination is. It's happened before and it'll happen again.
