no,but do have a good welding helmet. I have not yet made up my mind if I will go fishing or just hang around the home place. Not super excited about it either way.At my age you don't get really excited about much anyway!

Meh, I'm not understanding they hype. Yeah it only happens once in our lifetime, but so does sex after marriage.

Well, I must be the exception to this rule as I have 3 boys. I must have had sex at least 3 times! Since they all look like me somewhat,it must have happened or someone in my family that looks a great deal like me must have helped me out. maybe my wife won't read this.

Read something on Facebook about people being worried about their animals staring at the eclipse, lol.

I hope you are OK. I heard on news that anything less than 14 lens is not strong enuf. And I hope no one got swindled by the fake glasses...Maker ought to be jailed!

I used a number 10 lens plus my dark polarized sunglasses and im fine...we only had a 75% eclipse here where i live.... welding uv rays are pretty strong especially welding with a rod, i have been sun burnt through my shirt before on my belly with a white strip down the center of my belly from the doubled material where the buttons are. I heard a number 12 lens minimum also....

The fish sure did get active today. I caught a limit of crappie from 4 am to noon and bass fished in between the slow time, caught some really nice bass. They were all feeding as my boat is covered in fish poop

We had 91.3% coverage and it didn't even get as dark as early evening. I was fishing, and I did catch 2 and missed 4 more during that 20 min window to our total coverage here in cinci oh. Man they swallowed that worm so bad that I had to cut the hook off in one, and the other was bleeding so badly it died. Never had another bite after eclipse.
Good thing was...tho no wind at all, and sweating bullets all day till eclipse, the temp dropped a comfy 12*. Was eerily calm and weird on the water.
