    Compression

Anyone know what the compression should be on a 2004 Mercury 50HP 2 stroke? Or know where to find it? OT913561

As long as all the cylinders have the same compression, within say 5 to 10 lbs, its cool. Make sure you use the right conditions to check

Not entirely true, if they are both 40 lbs that's an issue. You do want them to be close though, but also within spec. I dont know what spec for that motor is but Ill take an educated guess and say somewhere around 100 psi, hopefully someone who knows for sure will chime in
