    Hitching Post tourney at Twain

Who has their money in for this one? Thoughts on how this is going to work?
Anyone know if there will be a beer truck?
I'm trying to figure out how they are going to do the weigh in and then release the fish.
I'll be up there the next few weekends. Maybe I'll stop and ask

38 boats signed up. Doesn't seem to be a very big hit, locals are still a bit pissed over Black Jack bowing out of the Bud Light Tourney (my .02)

We got in today. Was told around 50-55 boats. Weigh in at Spaulding. Beer at Hitching Post. Dont know how weighin will work or release. Im going to Hitching Post next week and ask someone so we'll have a clue as how its supposed to work.

There is a local release trailer that is used by some of the lake tournament circuits and I would guess someone has contacted them to do the release.

Got my boat number today. #35. That whole cove going back to the beach area is off limits this year.
Not sure I'm gonna make any of the functions at the hitchin post.
    Anyone else?

there were 80 something boats. Coyner won with 26 lbs. McFetridge took second with 22 lbs and Lomax/Werle took third with 21 lbs.

We caught 50 fish over the weekend but only 2 keepers.

We had a zero on Saturday so we were just hoping for a big one on Sunday. Caught her. 4.99 pounds. Big bass for the tourney and a three fish sack at ten and a half pounds.

I didn't like having to park on the beach and walking the fish up to the scales. Wasn't thinking about it but had my livewells running as I pulled up to the beach and sucked a bunch of sand into it.
The festivities were at a different location. We made it there around 6:15 and there were some people still there. I thought the band was great. We didn't go on Sunday.

I just knew what the weights were because a friend of mine cashed a check. I heard that they were going to improve some things for next year.

We were surprised that big bass only paid 250.00 on Sunday in a 84 boat tournament. USUALLY...a tournament pays 10.00 per boat to the big bass pot, especially when the entry fee has gone to 150.00 per team. I would think that should be 420.00 per day for big bass? What do you guys think?
