    Fortrex 112 Issue

Had my boat out yesterday for the second time since buying it, started fishing and noticed that when I let off the trolling motor switch it would almost sound like a bell ringing, there was about a 2 second delay from taking my foot off the switch and the ding, I thought maybe a relay dropping out, anyone had this issue.

Havn't heard that one. I would look at the prop for tightness, check the mount and make sure it's tight when deployed.

everything is tight, its coming from the foot pedal, like maybe a relay sticking, IDK.

Wonder of maybe your foot pedal is screwed down too tightly or not on a flat surface, the pinging noise may be the metal bottom plate popping after you remove the weight of your foot/leg.

Try pressing the switch with just your finger and stopping, does it ong then?

Try loosening the screws holding down your pedal to see if that stops it.

Just a theory so easy enough to check without any major work.
