    7610XS?

So I've a pretty ignorant question! Is this a good unit for bass fishing? I'm new to the fish finder game because my fishing style always was beating the banks and fishing shallower water, but I want to get in to fishing deeper water and structure. I have a buddy who wants to sell his to me for a really good price but he used it offshore and doesn't really know anything about bass fishing so he is no help! Lol!

I assume you mean 7610xsv. I don't think Garmin makes a 7610xs. If they do, you'll need to double check the specs. The 7610xsv is a first class unit.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

I knew you meant and I'm a little jealous. Your going to love that unit.
