Bow Mount Electronics On Between Fishing Areas.

I'm sure this topic has been discussed in the past. However, with all of the new high power units, matched up with increased technology transducers, is there a change in guidance as to On or Off when on plane, TM dry. I don't leave mine on, but my Raymarine A Series touch screen, takes some time to spool up, so it's annoying. Looking for some responses, based on facts and not personal preference.
    Thanks

Turn on in morning, turn off before loading boat up for the day. Never had an issue

I leave mine on wether or not my transducer is in the drink. I turn everything off before loading on the boat

i emailed lowrance about this exact issue. Lowrance tech advisor told me it won’t do any harm, but it could take a while for the transducer to find bottom after being put in the water. So far so good
