Just thought I would share what I found. I have been looking for a new oval light for a while now for my console an finally found an exact match. Its a white light not amber like original. Part numbers are as follows.

Dang! a month too late...I bought the LED replacement from Ranger and had to dremel out part of my console to get it to fit.
Thanks for the post! I have been trying to figure out something to replace my cracked console lights with and this looks perfect.

My boat has the same light but you push it to turn it on and off. This looks like it needs to be wired with a switch? The one you listed says interior use only is it waterproof?

How much pressure do you need to turn it on? If my leg rubs up against my old ones.....they will turn turn on

yes hes correct bc the housing on the original is round BUT the housing on the new light is eliptical and will not fit into the round hole in the consol so you may need to use a rotozip tool with a fiberglass bit to carve out some fiberglass to get it to fit. Im finding this out now on my 2003 vx

Whats the back look like is the housing round or elipticle in shape bc the hole in my console is round so may have to cut
