Lower Unit to drive shaft flange leak

I have a 2015 mercury pro xs 250hp optimax serial # 2B112541 that is leaking a small amount of oil between the lower unit gear housing and the drive shaft housing ( where the gray lower unit meets the black housing that it is attached to) in the very front of the lower unit. Looks as though it only leaks when motor is trimmed up with motor toter attached. Is there a seal or gasket in this area?
Also I have a platinum warranty till 2019 will this be something that would be covered.

Seals are not covered under Platinum. It could be a leaking oil pump. Pull the cowling and check it. This WILL be covered under warranty. There is a seal at the top of the driveshaft that could be the culprit too.

definately dfi oil not lower unit oil
checked lower unit and no water
